How we approach house windows

Most of our work is the glass of a family home: the big sliders onto the deck, the upstairs bedrooms nobody can reach, the bathroom window that faces the neighbours, and the fly screens and tracks that hold all the grit.

These four services are booked together more often than not. A full clean covers inside and outside glass, frames, sills, tracks and screens in one visit. If you only want the outside done between full cleans, that is a service of its own, and it is the one coastal homes book most often.

What is included

A typical full clean covers every window and glass door inside and out, frames and sills wiped, tracks vacuumed, and removable fly screens taken out, washed and refitted. We add balustrades, pool fences and skylights if you want them, each as a separate line on the quote so you can see what it costs. Between full cleans, an outside-only visit every few months keeps salt and dust from building up on the side that faces the weather.

Why it matters

Glass looks clean only when everything around it is clean too. A spotless pane in a frame full of salt and a track full of sand looks dirty again the first time you open it, so we treat the window as one job: glass, frame, sill, track and screen.
