What interior window cleaning with us looks like
Inside glass collects a different kind of dirt. Fingerprints and nose prints at child and dog height, cooking film near the kitchen, condensation marks in bedrooms and bathrooms, and dust that settles on sills and in tracks. It is the side you look through all day, so it is the side you notice.
We clean inside glass by hand: wash, squeegee, and detail the edges with microfibre so there are no drip lines at the frame. Sills and frames are wiped, tracks are vacuumed and wiped, and drop cloths go down where water might reach floors or furniture. We work room by room and leave each one as we found it.
Most people book interior cleaning with the outside, because cleaning one side shows up the other. It can also be booked on its own, for example before a sale, after renovation dust or once the winter condensation is gone.

Drop cloths go down under each window and furniture is moved only where needed, with your say-so.

Wash and squeegee
Glass is washed with a mild solution and squeegeed in one pass from the top, so nothing runs.

Microfibre takes off the last line of water at the frame, and fingerprints at the edges.

Sills and tracks, then a check
Sills and frames are wiped, tracks vacuumed, and every pane is checked from more than one angle.
Condensation marks and mould on frames
Bedrooms and bathrooms that fog up in winter leave water marks on the glass and black spots in the frame corners and rubber seals. We clean the glass and wipe the frames, and treat light mould spots on seals with a mild cleaner. Mould that has grown into silicone or rubber won't come out completely and needs the seal replaced; we tell you if we see it.
After builders and painters
New and renovated homes often have paint flecks, plaster dust, labels and silicone smears on the glass. These come off with care and a scraper on ordinary glass. Some new glass has a coating or is toughened in a way that scrapes badly, so we check it first and use a gentler method where we need to.

Do I need to be home for interior cleaning?
Someone needs to let us in, or you can leave a key. Many clients go out and come back to a finished job.
Do you move furniture?
Only what is needed to reach the glass, and only with your okay. Heavy or fragile pieces stay where they are and we work around them.
Will you clean the tracks?
Yes. Tracks are vacuumed and wiped as part of the inside clean.
Can you clean interior glass balustrades on stairs?
Yes, from the stairs and landings, with the glass protected from scratches by our tools.
What cleaning products do you use inside?
A mild glass cleaning solution and plain water. No ammonia and nothing with a strong smell.
Can you clean inside only?
Yes. Interior cleaning can be booked on its own, although most people add the outside at the same time.
