Fly screen and window track cleaning
What fly screen and track cleaning with us looks like
A dirty fly screen does three things. It blocks light, it makes clean glass look grey from inside, and every breeze through it carries dust and pollen into the house. Window tracks are worse: sand, dead insects, leaves and grit that make sliders stick and scratch the frame.
We take screens out, wash them with a soft brush and mild solution, rinse them and let them drip dry before refitting. Fixed and security screens are washed in place. Tracks are vacuumed, scrubbed with a narrow brush, wiped and checked so the door or window slides properly. Drain holes in the track are cleared so water runs out instead of in.
Screens and tracks are part of every full residential clean, and this service is for people who only need them done, or want them done more often than the glass.

Why it matters
What you get
Screens out and washed
Removable screens come out, get a gentle brush and rinse on both sides, and go back in dry.
Security screens in place
Fixed stainless mesh and security doors are washed in place without bending the mesh.
Tracks vacuumed and scrubbed
Sand, grit and insects come out, so doors slide easily and stop scratching the frame.
Drain holes cleared
Blocked weep holes are why tracks flood in heavy rain. We clear them as we go.

Our method
How we do it

Nathan is punctual, knowledgeable, polite and left our place neat and tidy.
Step 01 of 04
Label and remove
Screens are marked by window as they come out, so every one goes back where it belongs.

He was professional, responsive, and delivered exactly as promised.
Step 02 of 04
Brush and rinse
A soft brush and mild solution on both sides, then a gentle rinse that won't stretch the mesh.

Great work, fair pricing, and excellent communication.
Step 03 of 04
Clean the tracks
Vacuum, scrub with a narrow brush, wipe, and clear the weep holes so water drains out.

Excellent service! Nathan is punctual and nothing is a problem.
Step 04 of 04
Refit and test
Screens go back in dry and every slider is opened and closed to check it runs smoothly.
Torn mesh and bent frames
Old screens tear, and frames bend when they are forced in and out. We handle them gently and tell you about any damage we find before we touch them. We don't repair or re-mesh screens, but we can note which ones need a screen repairer so you can get them fixed in one go.
Sand in sliding door tracks
Near the beach, sand gets into door tracks and acts like sandpaper on the rollers and the frame. That is why coastal sliders get harder to open each year. A track clean every few months helps the rollers last longer. If a door still drags once the track is clean, the rollers may need replacing.

What our clients say
Rated 5.0 from 92+ Google reviews.
Nathan just completed a pressure wash of our travertine pavers under our alfresco area, around the pool and the sundeck. What an absolutely fantastic job. Nathan is punctual, knowledgeable, polite and left our place neat and tidy. We will certainly be calling him back on a regular basis and can highly recommend him.
Nathan provided a reliable and professional property maintenance. Great work, fair pricing, and excellent communication. Highly recommend!
Nathan did a great job washing the external sides of our house. The weatherboard was dirty and had cobwebs. Nathan went above and beyond our expectations, the house was perfectly clean and all the cobwebs were gone.

FAQs
Fly screen and window track cleaning: questions
Straight answers before you book. Can't see yours? Call Nathan on 0416 007 745.
Still have a question?
Talk to Nathan directly. He quotes and attends every job himself.
Do you take the screens away?
No. Screens are cleaned on site, usually on a lawn or paved area, and refitted the same day.
Can you clean security screens?
Yes. Fixed stainless mesh and security doors are washed in place with a soft brush.
Do you repair torn fly screens?
No. We note any torn or bent screens so a screen repairer can fix them, and we don't force damaged screens in or out.
Why do my sliding doors stick?
Usually sand and grit in the track. A track clean fixes most of it. If it still drags, the rollers may be worn.
Is this included in a full window clean?
Yes. Screens and tracks are part of every full residential clean. This service is for screens and tracks on their own.
How long do screens take to dry?
A short time in the sun. We wash them first and refit them last, so they are dry before they go back.
