Eastern Suburbs
Fly screen and window track cleaning in the Eastern Suburbs
Screens and tracks in the Eastern Suburbs collect salt and grit on the ocean side and dust on the busy streets inland. Stainless security screens are common on terraces and apartments, and we wash them in place without bending the mesh.
Large stacker doors and retractable screens are common on new homes. We clean the screen housings and guide tracks as well as the mesh.
Sand from the harbour and the ocean blows into door tracks and builds up in screen mesh. It is the main reason coastal sliders get stiff, and the main reason screens look grey.
Older homes often have timber-framed screens or custom-made screens on double-hung windows. We remove and refit them carefully and mark each one.
How often in the Eastern Suburbs
For most homes in the Eastern Suburbs, fly screen and track cleaning is worth doing every 3 to 6 months. Sand fills tracks and mesh quickly near the beach.
What affects the quote
- Retractable screens and long stacker tracks.
- Sand-packed tracks take longer to clear.
- Custom timber screens are handled one by one.
Every quote is fixed and itemised by area after a quick look.

Our method
How we handle fly screens and tracks

Nathan is punctual, knowledgeable, polite and left our place neat and tidy.
Step 01 of 04
Label and remove
Screens are marked by window as they come out, so every one goes back where it belongs.

He was professional, responsive, and delivered exactly as promised.
Step 02 of 04
Brush and rinse
A soft brush and mild solution on both sides, then a gentle rinse that won't stretch the mesh.

Great work, fair pricing, and excellent communication.
Step 03 of 04
Clean the tracks
Vacuum, scrub with a narrow brush, wipe, and clear the weep holes so water drains out.

Excellent service! Nathan is punctual and nothing is a problem.
Step 04 of 04
Refit and test
Screens go back in dry and every slider is opened and closed to check it runs smoothly.

Nathan just completed a pressure wash of our travertine pavers under our alfresco area, around the pool and the sundeck. What an absolutely fantastic job. Nathan is punctual, knowledgeable, polite and left our place neat and tidy. We will certainly be calling him back on a regular basis and can highly recommend him.
Nathan provided a reliable and professional property maintenance. Great work, fair pricing, and excellent communication. Highly recommend!
Nathan did a great job washing the external sides of our house. The weatherboard was dirty and had cobwebs. Nathan went above and beyond our expectations, the house was perfectly clean and all the cobwebs were gone.

FAQs
Fly screens and tracks in the Eastern Suburbs: questions
Straight answers before you book. Can't see yours? Call Nathan on 0416 007 745.
Still have a question?
Talk to Nathan directly. He quotes and attends every job himself.
Do you repair torn fly screens?
No. We note any torn or bent screens so a screen repairer can fix them, and we don't force damaged screens in or out.
Why do my sliding doors stick?
Usually sand and grit in the track. A track clean fixes most of it. If it still drags, the rollers may be worn.
Is this included in a full window clean?
Yes. Screens and tracks are part of every full residential clean. This service is for screens and tracks on their own.
How long do screens take to dry?
A short time in the sun. We wash them first and refit them last, so they are dry before they go back.
How often should ocean-facing windows be cleaned?
Every two to three months. Harbour-side homes usually need it every three to four months.
How do you handle parking?
We agree parking and access before the day and keep the van and crew small.
