North Shore
Window cleaning across North Shore
The North Shore is about trees and heritage. From Mosman and Cremorne up through Lindfield, Killara, Gordon, Pymble and Wahroonga, homes sit under a heavy canopy of gums and turpentines, and a lot of them are Federation, inter-war and Arts and Crafts houses with original timber windows, leadlight and glazed verandah doors.
St Ives is our closest North Shore suburb, straight up Mona Vale Road from the beaches, and the rest of the upper North Shore is around 30 to 35 minutes away. The lower North Shore harbour suburbs, from Castlecrag and Northbridge to Hunters Hill and Woolwich, are about 40 to 50 minutes.
Under the canopy
Tall trees drop pollen, sap, honeydew and leaf dust on windows, fill skylights with leaves and clog fly screens. The shady side of the house stays damp, so the glass there grows a grey film that a hose only spreads around. A soft brush and pure water lift it, and the glass dries clear.
Skylights and solar panels under trees lose a lot of light. We clear leaves from around skylights before washing, and clean panels with purified water and no pressure.
Heritage windows
Original timber sashes, putty and leadlight are fragile. We clean them by hand with little water, keep water off timber and sandstone sills, and point out flaking paint or loose putty before we start rather than after. Old glass with waves and bubbles stays that way; cleaning removes dirt, not character.
Harbour suburbs
Mosman, Cremorne Point, Neutral Bay, Longueville and Woolwich add salt mist and glare off the harbour and rivers. Harbourfront glass and balustrades there need cleaning more often than the leafy streets up the hill.

Window cleaning by suburb
Every suburb has its own page, with what we see on the glass there.
- CastlecragCastlecrag was designed by Walter Burley Griffin and Marion Mahony Griffin to sit within the sandstone and bush above Middle Harbour.
- CremorneCremorne runs from Military Road down to the harbour, with Federation homes, Art Deco apartments and harbourfront houses, many in heritage conservation areas.
- Cremorne PointCremorne Point is a narrow peninsula with harbourfront homes above the foreshore walk, on sandstone foundations and steps, with some of Sydney's best views of the city.
- GordonGordon is a leafy Ku-ring-gai suburb of large Federation and inter-war homes on big blocks either side of the Pacific Highway.
- Hunters HillHunters Hill has some of Australia's oldest sandstone houses, on the peninsula between the Lane Cove and Parramatta rivers.
- KillaraKillara sits between Lindfield and Gordon along the Pacific Highway, with quiet streets of large Federation and Arts and Crafts homes, wide gardens and tall blue gums and turpentines.
- LindfieldLindfield is a leafy Ku-ring-gai suburb of Federation and inter-war homes, many in heritage conservation areas, with large homes on big blocks east and west of the railway under a heavy canopy.
- LonguevilleLongueville is a small, quiet peninsula of large homes, many on the Lane Cove River waterfront, along streets like Arabella Street and River Road.
- MosmanMosman runs from Military Road down to Balmoral, Clifton Gardens, Beauty Point and The Spit.
- Neutral BayNeutral Bay runs from Military Road down to the harbour at Kurraba Point, with large harbourfront homes near the Hayes Street wharf and Federation houses and inter-war apartment blocks further up the hill.
- NorthbridgeNorthbridge is a leafy harbour suburb known for the castellated sandstone of its suspension bridge, with Federation and inter-war homes on sandstone foundations.
- PymblePymble spreads either side of the Pacific Highway, from the streets around Pymble Ladies' College and Avondale Golf Club to the bush along Bobbin Head Road and the Sheldon Forest.

How we clean windows

Nathan is punctual, knowledgeable, polite and left our place neat and tidy.
Step 01 of 04
Walk the glass
We look at every window first for scratches, failing seals, coating damage and hard water etching, and tell you what a clean won't fix.

He was professional, responsive, and delivered exactly as promised.
Step 02 of 04
Outside with pure water
A soft brush on the water-fed pole lifts salt and dust while deionised water rinses it away, frames and sills included.

Great work, fair pricing, and excellent communication.
Step 03 of 04
Inside by hand
Inside glass is washed and squeegeed, edges detailed with microfibre, and drips caught before they reach your floors.

Excellent service! Nathan is punctual and nothing is a problem.
Step 04 of 04
Screens and tracks, then a check
Tracks are vacuumed and wiped, screens washed and refitted, and we check every pane against the light before we leave.

Nathan provided a reliable and professional property maintenance. Great work, fair pricing, and excellent communication. Highly recommend!
Nathan did a great job washing the external sides of our house. The weatherboard was dirty and had cobwebs. Nathan went above and beyond our expectations, the house was perfectly clean and all the cobwebs were gone.
