North Shore
Interior window cleaning on the North Shore
Interior cleaning on the North Shore often means original timber sashes, leadlight and glazed internal doors in Federation and Arts and Crafts homes. These are cleaned by hand with little water, and newer extensions with large internal glass and stair balustrades are detailed at the edges so nothing shows in the light.
Leafy suburbs bring pollen and dust inside through open windows and doors. We vacuum it out of tracks before washing the glass, so grit isn't dragged across the pane.
Older homes have timber sashes, sash weights and sometimes leadlight. We clean leadlight gently with a soft cloth and keep water off timber and putty.
Large internal glass, voids and stairwell balustrades need a steady hand and clean edges. We detail every edge so nothing shows against the evening light.
How often on the North Shore
For most homes on the North Shore, interior window cleaning is worth doing every 6 months. Pollen and dust come in through open windows.
What affects the quote
- Pollen in tracks and on sills.
- Leadlight and timber sashes are cleaned slowly by hand.
- Large internal glass and voids take longer to detail.
Every quote is fixed and itemised by area after a quick look.

Our method
How we handle interior windows

Nathan is punctual, knowledgeable, polite and left our place neat and tidy.
Step 01 of 04
Protect the room
Drop cloths go down under each window and furniture is moved only where needed, with your say-so.

He was professional, responsive, and delivered exactly as promised.
Step 02 of 04
Wash and squeegee
Glass is washed with a mild solution and squeegeed in one pass from the top, so nothing runs.

Great work, fair pricing, and excellent communication.
Step 03 of 04
Detail the edges
Microfibre takes off the last line of water at the frame, and fingerprints at the edges.

Excellent service! Nathan is punctual and nothing is a problem.
Step 04 of 04
Sills and tracks, then a check
Sills and frames are wiped, tracks vacuumed, and every pane is checked from more than one angle.

Nathan just completed a pressure wash of our travertine pavers under our alfresco area, around the pool and the sundeck. What an absolutely fantastic job. Nathan is punctual, knowledgeable, polite and left our place neat and tidy. We will certainly be calling him back on a regular basis and can highly recommend him.
Nathan provided a reliable and professional property maintenance. Great work, fair pricing, and excellent communication. Highly recommend!
Nathan did a great job washing the external sides of our house. The weatherboard was dirty and had cobwebs. Nathan went above and beyond our expectations, the house was perfectly clean and all the cobwebs were gone.

A mild glass cleaning solution and plain water. No ammonia and nothing with a strong smell.
Can you clean inside only?
Yes. Interior cleaning can be booked on its own, although most people add the outside at the same time.
Do I need to be home for interior cleaning?
Someone needs to let us in, or you can leave a key. Many clients go out and come back to a finished job.
Do you move furniture?
Only what is needed to reach the glass, and only with your okay. Heavy or fragile pieces stay where they are and we work around them.
