North Shore
Glass pool fence cleaning on the North Shore
Most North Shore homes have a pool, and most of those pools sit under trees. Leaves and sap land on the glass, and tannin from wet leaves stains the spigots and base plates brown, so we clear and clean the fittings along with both faces of the glass.
Leaves and sap land on the glass and in the pool, and tannin from wet leaves stains the spigots and base plates brown.
On older homes the pool is often a later addition in a heritage garden. We clean the glass without disturbing the planting or the stone around it.
Infinity edges, glass spa surrounds and long runs of frameless fencing are common here. We clean them so the glass disappears against the water and the view.
How often on the North Shore
For most homes on the North Shore, glass pool fence cleaning is worth doing every 3 months. Leaves and sap land on the glass all year.

Our method
How we handle glass pool fences

Nathan is punctual, knowledgeable, polite and left our place neat and tidy.
Step 01 of 04
Check the panels
We look for etching, chips and any gate that doesn't self-close, and tell you what we find.

He was professional, responsive, and delivered exactly as promised.
Step 02 of 04
Lift the grease
Sunscreen and hand marks are worked off first with a mild cleaner.

Great work, fair pricing, and excellent communication.
Step 03 of 04
Treat mineral spots
Calcium and hard water marks get a pool-safe remover, then a soft brush.

Excellent service! Nathan is punctual and nothing is a problem.
Step 04 of 04
Pure-water rinse
Both sides are rinsed with pure water, so the glass dries clear, with run-off kept out of the pool.

Nathan just completed a pressure wash of our travertine pavers under our alfresco area, around the pool and the sundeck. What an absolutely fantastic job. Nathan is punctual, knowledgeable, polite and left our place neat and tidy. We will certainly be calling him back on a regular basis and can highly recommend him.
Nathan provided a reliable and professional property maintenance. Great work, fair pricing, and excellent communication. Highly recommend!
Nathan did a great job washing the external sides of our house. The weatherboard was dirty and had cobwebs. Nathan went above and beyond our expectations, the house was perfectly clean and all the cobwebs were gone.

Still have a question?
Talk to Nathan directly. He quotes and attends every job himself.
Can you remove the white marks at the bottom of the glass?
Fresh calcium marks, yes. Very old marks may have etched the glass and won't fully come out.
How often should a glass pool fence be cleaned?
Every two to three months in summer, and every three to six months in the cooler months.
Do you adjust gates or hinges?
No. We clean them and tell you if a gate doesn't self-close or latch, so a fencing contractor can fix it.
Can you clean the fence and the windows together?
Yes, and most clients do. It is cheaper than two visits.
How often should North Shore windows be cleaned?
Every six months for most homes under trees, and every three to four months for harbourfront glass.
How far is the North Shore from your base?
St Ives is about 25 minutes, the upper North Shore 30 to 35 minutes, and the lower North Shore 40 to 50 minutes.
